On a clear day Leith Hill, Holmbury Hill and Pitch Hill offer views to the South Coast and back towards the Capital. Leith Hill the South East’s highest point is home to only official and waymarked trail in the Surrey Hills, Summer Lightning.
Here the land here is privately owned and managed by the National Trust, Forestry England, the Wotton Estate and the Hurtwood. Bike rental can be arranged through Surrey Hills Bike Rental at The Riders Hub in Peaslake for local rides or Just Pedal at the Hurtwood Hideout Book either standard Mountain Bikes or E-mountain bikes all are more than capable for the trails around the Surrey Hills.

Led by British Cycling MTB Night Leaders, night riding brings a whole new experience to trail riding as the days get shorter. We will be launching these in the coming weeks, and hope to be in a position to enable riders to rent some of the best lights on the market.
