The Surrey Hills National Landscape covers an area stretching from Farnham in the west to Westerham in the east.

Amongst the national landscape are well known areas such as the Devils Punchbowl, Denbies Wine Estate and Box Hill.

Twenty minutes South East of Guildford, lies the picture postcard village of Peaslake, with it’s village shop and traditional pub. Peaslake is also one of the focal points for off-road cycling and mountain biking, situated only 30 miles from central London.

The trails spreading out across the this area known as the Hurtwood, have been around for over 30 years. They are maintained by a team of volunteers with the permission of the Land Owners via Friends of the Hurtwood.

Located in the heart of the Village is the Hurtwood Inn, a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and idea base to stay for a couple of days and explore. Matt who runs the Hurtwood Inn is a keen Mountain Biker and has been instrumental in the creation of the Hurtwood Enduro which takes place every July.
